While access is valuable, we believe that it takes more than access to succeed. A lot of people in Washington can open doors. Like many, we have established long-term relationships with key decision-makers in Washington including members of the House, the Senate, and officials at the White House and key federal agencies. But the nature of the way business is done in Washington is changing.
With partisan gridlock, we have to look at unconventional ways to accomplish policy goals. The fact is, very few federal policy issues are resolved by enactment of a federal law. Time and again, our process expertise has demonstrated its value by expanding the playbook available to our clients in two ways: 1) we identified opportunities that they had not considered and 2) our recommendations dramatically improved our client’s prospects for achieving their policy objectives.
